The kitchen and living room were well-equipped with everything you need, including books and a guitar for entertainment. The bathrooms were clean and well-maintained, with separate facilities for men and women. The staff at the reception were kind and helpful, assisting me with my luggage.
The heating system in the hostel was quite weak, making it a bit cold during the winter stay. The check-out time was early at 10 am, but they did provide a room to store luggage.

I had an amazing 2-week stay at Lotte hostel in Heidelberg. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and they responded quickly to any questions I had before my trip. The hostel had separate bathrooms for women, which was convenient, and they even provided a hair dryer so I didn't need to bring my own. The kitchen was fully equipped and there was free coffee, tea, and cereal available all day. The facilities were always clean and there was a designated area for smokers. The atmosphere was cozy and the decor was charming. The location was perfect, just a short walk from Universitätsplatz after taking the bus.
I would definitely recommend this hostel.

Our stay at Lotte - The Backpackers was fantastic! The location was perfect, just a stone's throw away from the main square and at the base of the castle hill. The hostel had a cozy and communal atmosphere, with big comfortable rooms and easily accessible lockers. The bathrooms and kitchen were always clean and well-equipped. We especially loved the free all-day cereal and coffee, such a nice treat! One drawback was the early check-out time, but they had a room to store our luggage. we highly recommend this hostel.

The location of the hostel is ideal, with easy access to public transportation and a short walk to the main attractions. the rooms are clean and cozy, with comfortable beds and a nice atmosphere. the bathroom facilities are well-maintained and offer strong water pressure. Guests can also enjoy complimentary coffee, tea, cereal, and milk throughout the day.
It would have been better if there were shoe racks or lockers in the dorms to prevent any unpleasant odors from lingering.
